Safety and guidelines for river rafting

One of the most unforgettable experience of my life is river rafting in sivpuri , RISHIKESH .
I with my 3 friends went to Rishikesh for camping , rafting ,tracking etc .Trip was fully adventurous but river rafting was the best part of the trip . Our rafting journey started by 10 am in the morning from sivpuri to rishikesh (16 km) .we did hit some of the most exciting rapids on the gang that is Return to sender ,Roller coster ,golf course, club house ,initiation ,double trouble and hilton .we enjoyed it thoroughly .body surffing and cliff jumping were two awesome things during rafting . Roller coster and Golf course both are bit dangerous rapid . As i did rafting in ganga so here are some safety guidelines for rafting :-
  • Do not try to go on a rafting trip alone . always hire a  instructor or guide .
  • Good physical health is required to become eligible going on a rafting . it is advisable to do some upper     body trip so you can handle paddles even in strong rapids .if you are physically not fit you should not try rafting .
  • Never consume alcohol before starting on a rafting trip .
  • Listen carefully the instruction from the guide and get clear with all the moves before starting on a rafting .
  • Select a life jacket you feel comfortable .
  • Blood pressure and heart patient should avoid rafting .
